Welcome to CAMP AMAZING KIDS!GYM

What do healthful food, the arts, sports, inventions, and adventures have in common? YOU!

Join us as we explore each of these topics and discover that kids don't have to wait to be adults to do amazing things—they can be Amazing Kids now! Group activities as well as hands-on individual and small group projects will engage campers each day as they have fun learning and developing talents and interests they may not have known they had.

This year's summer camp, Camp Amazing Kids, includes opportunities for campers to expand their horizons through reading with the Amazing Reading Adventure, protect the environment with Amazing Eco-Tips, stay in shape with the Extremely Amazing Exercise—all while building positive character traits, vocabulary, and knowledge and having fun at the same time! Splash Day — Children are to come dressed in a bathing suit, bring a towel, sunscreen and water shoes. It is mandatory to wear water shoes (no flip-flops) or your child will not be allowed to participate. Please label everything with your child's first and last name.

Weather — All of our outdoor trips are "weather permitting." If it is too hot, a trip to the park will be shortened. If there is thunder or lightening, we may still drive out and see, because sometimes the weather may be ugly at the center and nice at our destination.

Volunteers — We welcome all parents who would like to join us on field trips. Please let us know the day before if you will be attending any field trip. Also, please be prepared to drive your own vehicle.

Parent, Teacher, Child Communication — Please communicate daily with the teachers and your children. Schedule changes or departure and arrival times may change. We will inform the children and put a note on the front door if there is any schedule change.

Field Trip Attire — Your child or children are required to wear a Kids'R'Kids t-shirt on all field trips and tennis shoes.

BehaviorWe are constantly reminding the children of our rules and consequences for rule violations. However, we will greatly appreciate it if you would do the same at home and reinforce acceptable behavior. In the summer, we do take the children to many different places, the rules become real safety factors, and acceptable behavior is stressed, especially on field trips. Inappropriate behavior on a field trip will result in the child losing privileges to attend the next field trip. If inappropriate behavior continues, your child will not be able to attend field trips for the remainder of the summer. It is very important that your children understand the behavior rules and consequences if the rules are broken.

Let's have a lot of fun this summer!!!
